United System Integrators (USi) was founded in 1999 by current CEO Michael Shebelle primarily as a systems maintenance and support organization providing unparalleled services to its clients. Within a short time, USi grew steadily to expand its operations to systems delivery and integration as well as providing implementation of end-to-end enterprise solutions and business applications in response to the growing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure and professional services needs in Ethiopia. Currently, USi runs its operations with over 50 permanently employed engineering, sales/pre-sales, technical support and other staff members and has the capability to ramp up its workforce quickly depending on the size and scope of projects and specific expertise needed.
Today, USi is recognized as one of the major companies positioned to contribute positively to the growth of Ethiopia’s ICT capabilities and economic expansion. Additionally, it has now started providing services in the East African region and plans to eventually become a truly global company. To achieve this, USi has been consistently acquiring skill-sets that have enabled it to successfully deliver innovative infrastructure projects and enterprise solutions. Because USi strongly believes that a world-class services provider must be able to keep up with trends and advances in new technology, it strives to build on these skill-sets by hiring the best and brightest from local colleges and universities and participates in regular training and certification programs.
